The closing banquet shows how many people are now enjoying this great sport here in Baysville.

The Bocce Club is grateful for the receipt of a Pay It Forward Grant that allowed us to add another Bocce pitch for our 2018 season. We now have 4 pitches allowing us to have 8 teams active at the same time... more space for new members.

Each Thursday evening, during July and August, from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, a group of enthusiastic bocce players meet at the bocce courts adjacent to the Baysville Curling Club for fun, fellowship and a weekly game of bocce.
In 2016 our numbers grew from 6 teams of four to 9 teams of four players. We even had a waiting list of people wanting to play! These individuals became substitutes along with some members who wanted to play, but didn't wish to play on a full time basis.
Bocce is a game which can be enjoyed by all ages and abilities and our club welcomes anyone wishing to become involved.
We also offer "learn to play" sessions for our new members.
The membership fee is a modest $20.00 for full time members, which entitles participants to take part in eight games and two social events. Substitutes pay only $10.00.
